Summary of a Journey, so far.
My journey started about 3 months ago. Early July I began an intermittent fasting plan. In about a month I lost approximately 4 kgs.
Of course, this lead me to resume some my old passions like jogging and walking. Feeling reinvigorated and having more energy and a better sense of self, I decided to reincorporate them into my routine and daily activities.
I've been fortunate to count with the support of my family and friends in keeping me motivated and fueled.
Currently I use a pedometer app to track my steps, the Active10 app to measure activity, the Couch to 5K app as a training regime and the Body Fast app for my nutrition and fasting regime. Also the Runekeeper app as a tracker for my running.
I'll into more detail about those apps and my program in the following posts. Right now just wanted to give a little overview what the last few months have been like.
Some fitness challenges I found in Pinterest here and there, plus lots of youtube videos and blogs that have kept me informed and interested have been important.
I guess my key take-away from this summary has to be, you don't need to have a reason to get into action, but the desire and will. It has taken effort for me to be where I am right now and I still have a long way to go.
Hope you stick with me for the long haul. More substantial and fun posts are coming. Training has just officially begun and it's going to be fun!
